During the Fall, our Color Guard performs with the Marching Band.
What is Color Guard?
Color Guard is a sport consisting of dancing, marching and spinning various types of equipment such as human-sized flags, wooden rifles and sabers.
What is
Color Guard Camp?
Sheldon has two weeks of Band Camp in August where new members become trained in the basics of Color Guard equipment and dance technique. They also begin to learn the choreography and drill for the competitive marching band show.
Time commitment required.
The Color Guard practices on a weekly schedule similar to the Band’s schedule with occasional weekend rehearsals till the beginning of November.
